Vista Murrieta beat Redlands East Valley 59-14 Friday night in Murrieta.
Coach Kurt Bruich and his Wildcats - ranked 38th in the state - were defeated in front of a packed, standing-room-only stadium and a live TV audience.
"We just got embarrassed, I didn't see this coming," Bruich said after the game.

The Wildcats managed two touchdowns late in the game after trailing 59-0. Philip Jones-Ward, Bryar Yup and Treshon Brougton scored touchdowns for the Broncos on fumble recoveries.
Redlands East Valley fell to 1-2 on the 2012 season. The Wildcats play next at Mission Viejo High on Sept. 28.
