Redlands Native with Galaxy in Seattle for MLS Conference Finals Second Leg

Landon Donovan was listed as questionable with hamstring tightness in a pre-match injury report. Los Angeles had a 3-0 lead in the total goals two-match series.

Update 5:56 p.m. Landon Donovan was not on the pre-match squad list for Sunday night's Major League Soccer western conference finals second leg in Seattle.

Edson Buddle was named to start up top with Irish captain Robbie Keane.

Posted 1:26 p.m. Redlands native Landon Donovan was in Seattle with the Los Angeles Galaxy for the second leg of the Major League Soccer western conference finals Sunday night.

Donovan, 30, was listed as questionable with hamstring tightness in a pre-match injury report. Donovan helped set up two goals a week ago in the first leg in Carson before he pulled up lame in the second half. Edson Buddle and Juninho were also listed as questionable.

Los Angeles had a 3-0 lead in the total goals two-match series going into Sunday's match. The conference finals winner advances to MLS Cup, the league's championship match scheduled Dec. 1.

The second leg is scheduled at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at CenturyLink Field. More than 43,000 tickets had been sold for Sunday's match, the Seattle Times reported.

The match will be broadcast on ESPN platforms, according to Major League Soccer.

Donovan grew up in Redlands playing soccer for local clubs, Redlands High and Redlands East Valley. He played for Everton FC of Liverpool during the MLS off-season earlier this year.
