RHS Prospects Nottingham, Landazuri Sign with Oklahoma and UC Riverside

Nottingham and Landazuri are both 17-year-old seniors who helped lead the Terriers to a 24-6 season in 2012.

Redlands High School baseball standouts Jacob Nottingham and Angel Landazuri have signed letters of intent with major university programs, their head coach announced.

Nottingham signed with the University of Oklahoma and Landazuri signed with UC Riverside at Redlands High, Terriers Head Baseball Coach Estevan Valencia said Wednesday.

Nottingham and Landazuri are both 17-year-old seniors who helped lead the Terriers to a 24-6 season in 2012, according to www.leaguelineup.com.

Landazuri was 8-2 with a 1.06 ERA and had 75 strikeouts in the 2012 season, according to www.maxpreps.com. Nottingham batted .341 with 15 hits and 16 RBIs in spite of playing just half the season due to injury, Valencia said.
