Members of Redlands High boys water polo team raised more than $1,300 in during a four-hour car wash Saturday Aug. 18, parents said Tuesday.
"Everyone was so generous," former team treasurer and current parent Luciana Pesavento said. "Some people gave money just to take photos."
The team was raising money for swimsuits, Pesavento said.
The fundraiser was held 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 18 in the parking lot at 470 East Highland Avenue in Redlands.
