Ready for Redlands Bicycle Classic? Prepare to Upload Your Photos Here

The 29th Redlands Bicycle Classic, one of the Inland Empire's premier sporting events for professional, amateur and disabled athletes, begins at 10:30 a.m. Thursday April 4 with the 4.3-mile PossAbilities Paracycle Time Trial on the north shore of Big Bear Lake.

Every year the Classic is a chance for great photos, and here at Redlands-Loma Linda Patch we know from experience there are a lot of talented photographers out there shooting.

The schedule April 4 continues at Big Bear Lake with the women's time trial at 11:15 a.m. and the men's time-trial  at 12:30 p.m., both 7.8 miles.

- Friday April 5 features road racing in Beaumont and Cherry Valley, with a start/finish about 15 miles east of downtown Redlands via Interstate 10.

- Saturday April 6 features the criterium circuit in downtown Redlands and 28 categories for public racers, from 3-year-old tricycle riders to men and women 45 and older.

- Sunday April 7 features the Sunset Road Race, from downtown to twisting hillside climbs and descents - 9 laps for the women's 68.1-mile course, and 12 laps for the men's 94.1-mile course.

- PossAbilities of Loma Linda University Medical Center is handling registration for all paracycling race events, which are scheduled all four days, in Big Bear, Beaumont and downtown Redlands.

- Hundreds of volunteers in Big Bear, Beaumont and Redlands will help make this year's races and related events possible. For more info click here, email volunteers@redlandsclassic.com, or call (909) 844-6152.

- Platinum Spoke Sponsors for the 29th Redlands Bicycle Classic include Loma Linda University, PossAbilities, Beaver Medical Group, the City of Redlands and the City of Beaumont.
