REV Grads Await Word from NFL Draft

Ronnie Fouch and Chris Polk are hoping to hear their names called by a National Football League team. Getting the call is a dream come true for many of these young men.

UPDATE (11:50 A.M., Saturday): Chris Polk, projected to be chosen in the second round, is still on the board in the fifth round. At this point in the draft, he is listed as the best overall available, but has hit a run of teams not in need of a running back.

UPDATE: Neither player was drafted Friday in rounds two and three. The final four rounds (fourth through seventh) will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. Coverage is available on ESPN.)

Redlands East Valley graduates Chris Polk and Ronnie Fouch are still waiting to see if an National Football League team will give them a chance to continue their football careers at the NFL Draft.

The draft started Thursday and continues through the weekend with rounds two and three scheduled today.

Polk, a running back from the University of Washington, had been projected to be drafted as high as the second round, but he had not been drafted as the third round began Friday afternoon.

Fouch finished his college career as a quarterback at Indiana State University. His mother Rhonda Fouchs, is athletic director at REV.
