Training For a Marathon, or Just Want To Walk? Join the Lopers

The Lopers Club hits the streets of Loma Linda to run and walk early every Sunday morning

Looking to train for the 2012 Los Angeles Marathon? Join the Lopers Club.

The Lopers is open to everyone interested in running or walking, including every age and fitness level, and you don’t need to be training for a marathon to join. The clinic will start August 14 at 6:30 a.m., with meetings every Sunday after that at 6:30 a.m. at the Drayson Center.

Benefits of being part of the Lopers include personalized running and walking training programs; speakers on the proper way to train (with topics ranging from equipment to nutrition to shoes); speed training for experienced runners; stretching instructions; coaching seminars; discounts at local stores on clothing, shoes and equipment; social events; and water and snacks post-run. All members will receive an official Lopers Club t-shirt and Lopergram newsletter.
