Redlands Native Sets Up All Four Goals as LA Galaxy Defeats Chivas USA 4-0

Landon Donovan, who grew up in Redlands, set up Irish captain Robbie Keane, Brazilian Juninho twice, and defender Omar Gonzalez as the Galaxy crushed their in-stadium rivals in Carson.

Redlands native Landon Donovan assisted on all four goals Sunday night as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated Chivas USA in a Major League Soccer match in Carson.

Donovan set up Irish captain Robbie Keane, Brazilian Juninho twice, and defender Omar Gonzalez as the Galaxy crushed their in-stadium rivals 4-0.

Keane scored in the 27th minute, Juninho in the 64th and the 74th, and Gonzalez in the 83rd. The result reversed the score in the Galaxy's last effort on Aug. 5, when they were beaten on the road 0-4 by Seattle.

David Beckham was at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony Sunday Aug. 12, with "the full support" of Coach Bruce Arena and the Galaxy organization, according to the team's Twitter feed.
