Where to Watch Fourth of July Fireworks in Redlands, Loma Linda

Looking to catch a fireworks show this Fourth of July?  Well, Redlands-Loma Linda Patch has you covered.

The Redlands Fourth of July celebration will happen again this year at the U of R stadium.  Organizers say they are bringing in jumbo-trons, so everyone will have a great view.   But that's not the only chance you'll have to watch the sky light up, as several more shows are planned nearby.

Here is all you need to know about 2013 fireworks in town, and in nearby Riverside County: 

Host: Redlands Fourth of July Celebration
Date: 7/4/2013
Time: 7 p.m. show begins, Fireworks at 9 p.m.
Location: University of Redlands Stadium
Admission: General admission at the gate on the 4th of July will be $10.00. Children 3 and under are free and will not need a ticket (unless purchasing a reserved seat).
Details: "Once again the University of Redlands plays host to one of the largest 4th of July celebrations in the State of California," an announcement from the event's official website states. "This year everyone sees the show! We will have 1 9'x12' Jumbo-trons - one on each side of the stage. The gates at the U of R Stadium will open by 6 p.m. The live show and opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will include a flag ceremony and a USAF C-17 flyover. After the flyover, skydivers from Perris Valley Skydiving will be landing in the stadium."

Host: Yucaipa Carnival and Fireworks Show
Date: 7/4/2013
Time: About 10-15 minutes after sunset.
Location: Yucaipa High School Grounds
Admission: Free
Details: The fireworks are part of the first night of the Independence Day Weekend Celebration at the Yucaipa High School Grounds.  "Sit on the grass to enjoy the music, food, and a good old fashion fun time!"  an announcement says.  "Bring your lawn chairs and join us for a Yucaipa 4th of July weekend blast!" Carnival runs July 4th through July 7th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m

Admission: If you arrive before 4 p.m., the event is free.  After that, $3 per person. Military service members with valid I.D. and children under 5 are free.

Details: "The festivities continue with the City’s annual fireworks show celebrating the birth of our great Nation," the city of Beaumont announced.  "Beginning at 4:00 p.m. there will be food, fun, and free entertainment for everyone. Host: Banning Centennial Celebration

Location: Nicolet Middle School Stadium
Admission: Free
Details: A free fireworks extravaganza choreographed to music will begin at 9 p.m. at Nicolet Middle School Stadium. Prior to the pyrotechnic show, live musical entertainment will take place from 7 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. Members of the city council, as well as Riverside County Fifth District Supervisor Marion Ashley, will be on hand to lead the singing of “Happy Birthday” and cut the official Banning Centennial birthday cake. Attendees may bring chairs and/or blankets.

Details: "The festivities begin at 4:30 pm with our 4th of July Chili cook-off, beer garden, food and entertainment in the La Quinta Park off of Avenida Montezuma," the chamber announcement states.  "Our 4th of July Parade begins at 7:00 pm, we also have Free Swimming at Fritz Burns Park Pool from Noon to 4:30 pm! It all concludes late that evening with spectacular fireworks display!"

Admission: Cost is price you pay for your game ticket.  Free admission for fireworks only.
Details: Fireworks display planned for after the Pam Springs Power team takes on the Los Angeles Brewers.    If you don't attend the game, you can get into the fireworks portion onlly, beginning at 8 p.m.

Host: City of Twentynine Palms

Location: Luckie Park
Admission: Free
Details: Music and live entertainment begin at the park at 4 p.m.  There will be a beer garden, and no other outside alcohol will be permitted at the event.  City officials tell Patch for attendees to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the event.

Details: More than 1,600 fireworks will be on display as a part of the city's 125th year July 4 celebration, which you can watch via boat or shoreline. Free public viewing locations include Lakepoint Park, Elm Grove Beach, Davis Fishing Beach, Whiskers Fishing Beach, Storm Stadium Parking Lot, Serenity Park, McVicker Park and a portion of the levee system. Paid viewing is available at the local campgrounds including the new La Laguna Resort & Boat Launch on the north end of the lake. TUNE IN to 99.9 FM for the synchronized music.
