Woman Injured at YMCA on East Citrus Ave: Redlands Fire + AMR Respond

Firefighters with Engine-Medic Squad 261 and AMR Redlands Division responded just before 5 p.m. Monday to the YMCA at 500 East Citrus Avenue in Redlands.

A woman was injured Monday in the gym at the YMCA on East Citrus Avenue and Redlands firefighters and AMR paramedics responded.

The rescue workers arrived just before 5 p.m. Monday to the family-oriented facility at 500 East Citrus Avenue in Redlands. They put the woman on a wheeled stretcher and took her to a waiting ambulance while she held a towel to her face.

People outside said the woman fell on a treadmill and broke her nose. YMCA personnel inside, including a member of the desk staff, the aquatics director, and the human resources director, declined to comment.

The Redlands Family YMCA on East Citrus has a gym and a 22,000-square-foot aquatics center that includes a teaching pool, lap pool and outdoor pool, according to the facility's website.
