Loma Linda Kiwanis Will Dance to Help Children

The service club holds a Salsa Dance Lesson Event to raise money for childrens' charities.

The Loma Linda Valley Kiwanis is hosting a Salsa Dance Lesson fundraising event and they are looking for people or businesses that will help sponsor the event.

The event invites people to come out and learn how to step out and have some fun moving to some Latin rhythms.

But there is a serious side to the event. Money raised will benefit the Kiwanis Doctors Program- Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Prevention- Safety and Health Outreach for Children throughout California, Nevada and Hawaii, the Victoria Elementary School and Resource Center- Educational opportunities and support for learning, the Ronald McDonald House- Loma Linda Quarterly Dinner for families and the Building A Generation, Outreach and Case Management for families in need.

The Salsa Dance Lesson Event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 7 at the Redlands Elks Lodge.

A $50 silver, $100 gold and $500 platinum presenting sponsorship are available.
