New PossAbilities Office Provides Gathering Place

PossAbilities, a community outreach program for those with a permanent physical injury, celebrated the opening of their new office.

Loma Linda University PossAbilities welcomed a big crowd Friday at an open house for their new office space in the Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus.

Guests enjoyed snacks and participated in opportunity drawings. A photo area took snapshots of those who attended.

The new office is at Loma Linda Professional Plaza, 25455 Barton Road, Suite 109A.

Loma Linda University PossAbilities is a community outreach program that offers those born with or have suffered permanent physical injury a sense of community, as well as offer activities and practical direction to help them lead an active, fulfilling life, organizers said.

The free membership program is tailored to people with physical disabilities such as limb amputation, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, organizers said.
