VIDEO: As Silver Fire Advances Evacuee Says 'We Decided to Leave on Our Own'

As the Silver Fire advanced, Rebecca Wielin, 23, of Poppet Flats, was among people who evacuated on their own before mandatory orders were announced in town Wednesday afternoon.

She and her mom shared a hug moments later as they looked west toward the fast-moving blaze, which was headed toward their neighborhood.
