Hangar 24 Estimates More Than 15,000 Showed for AirFest & 5th Anniversary

More than 15,000 people turned out for the Hangar 24 AirFest & 5th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday May 18 at Redlands Municipal Airport, brewery officials announced Tuesday.

"The attendance was overwhelming," Hangar 24 owner and Master Brewer Ben Cook said in a statement. "We were planning for 10,000 people, but the crowds just kept coming all day. People were still arriving by 8:30pm, just to see the aerial fireworks show, which was the last entertainment of the event."

The event featured stunt pilots, live music, food trucks, a kids zone and vintage warplanes. The brewery has already begun planning for next year's event, Cook said.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery is at 1710 Sessums Drive, Redlands.
